Annukka
Ritalahti (née Pitkänen) started
her career
making graphics
and textile-paintings. Her
first exhibition was in 1981. Before that she had already
participated in young artist’s exhibition with oil-paintings. She
learned about stained glass in School of Art in Liminka 1981.
Her
first glass-art exhibition was in 1988. The same year she started her
own art glass business. Since
1987 she has been teaching several hobby- glass courses and teaching
professional students, too. Her
most important public work is the stained glass of Kouvola Roman
Catholic Church.
